UGA Academic Calendar For Fall 2022  

1. The orientation for Fall Session 2022 is on August 15, 2022. 
2. The last date for registration for classes is August 16, 2022. 
3. The classes for Fall Session 2022 commence on August 17, 2022.
4. Students of graduate & undergraduate courses can drop/add courses between August 17, 2022, and August 23, 2022. 
5. September 5, 2022, is a holiday on account of Labor Day.
6. The Midterm Examination is on October 10, 2022.
7. The last date for students to withdraw from courses is October 24, 2022.
8. The classes are suspended on October 28, 2022, on account of Fall Break.
9. The last class day before the Thanksgiving Holiday is on November 22, 2022. 
10. Thanksgiving Holiday is from November 23, 2022 – November 28, 2022.
11. The Friday Class Schedule is in effect on December 6, 2022. It’s also the last class day for Fall Session 2022.
12. December 7, 2022, is Reading Day.
13. The final exams are from December 8, 2022 – December 14, 2022.
14. The grades for Fall Semester 2022 are due on December 19, 2022.

1. The orientation for Spring Session 2023 is on January 5, 2023.
2. The last date for registration for classes is January 6, 2023. 
3. The classes for Spring Session 2023 commence on January 9, 2023.
4. Students of graduate & undergraduate courses can drop/add courses between January 9, 2023, and January 13, 2023. 
5. The classes are suspended on January 16, 2023, on account of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
6. The Midterm Examination is on March 2, 2023.
7. The last class day before the Spring Break is on March 3, 2023.
8. Spring Break is from March 6, 2023, to March 10, 2023. 
9. The classes resume on March 13, 2023.
10. The last date for students to withdraw from courses is March 23, 2023.
11. Reading Day is on May 2, 2023.
12. The final examinations are from May 3, 2023 – May 9, 2023.
13. The grades are due on May 15, 2023.
