How To Login To UTK Canvas? 

If you’re a UTK student and want to login to UTK Canvas, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Launch your browser and navigate to https://myutk.utk.edu/ 
  2. On the next page, you’ll have to enter your Net ID and password in the respective fields. Enter this information accurately and click on “Login.”
  3. Congratulations! You’ve successfully logged in to your UTK Canvas portal. 

If you don’t have your Net ID, you can get it by searching on the UT Online Directory (http://directory.utk.edu/). You’ll find your Net ID in the upper right-hand corner of your directory entry. Besides it, you can also see your UTK email address. For further assistance, you can reach out to the campus HelpDesk.

Once logged in to Canvas, you can see your Dashboard, where you can find customizable color-coded cards indicating your current courses. You’ll also find your To-do list along with feedback from your instructors on the courses which you’ve recently completed. 

If you’re unable to find your course on your Dashboard, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Click on the “Courses” icon. 
  2. Then, click on “All Courses.”
  3. Now, you can see all your courses. You’ll find your content (learning materials, modules, assignments, etc.) here. 

How To Take A Quiz Or Exam In myUTK Canvas? 

If you want to take an exam or quiz in UTK Canvas, follow the steps:

  1. Launch your browser and navigate to https://myutk.utk.edu/ 
  2. Login to your UTK Canvas account using your correct Net ID and password.
  3. Click on “Quizzes” under the Course menu. 
  4. You’ll see a list of quizzes available for you. Click on the title of the quiz which you want to take.
  5. On the next page, click on the “Take The Quiz” button. 
  6. On the next page, you can either see all the questions at once or one question at a time. It depends on the preferences chosen by your instructor. 

How To Submit An Assignment In Canvas? 

If you want to submit assignments in UTK Canvas, follow the steps:

  1. Launch your browser and navigate to https://myutk.utk.edu/ 
  2. Login to your UTK Canvas account using your correct Net ID and password.
  3. Click on “Assignments” under the Course menu. 
  4. Read the instructions and content of the assignment carefully. 
  5. When you’re ready to submit your completed assignment, click “Submit Assignment.” 
  6. Click on the “Browse” button to upload a single file. Select your file from the file window. If you want to upload multiple files, click “Add Another File .”Then, click on “Browse.” 
  7. After you have completed submitting your assignments, click on “Submit Assignment.” 

How To View Your Grades In Canvas? 

If you want to view your grades in UTK Canvas, follow the following steps:

  1. Launch your browser and navigate to https://myutk.utk.edu/ 
  2. Login to your UTK Canvas account using your correct Net ID and password.
  3. Click on “Grades” under the Course menu. 
  4. Congratulations! Now, you can view your grades.

How To Participate In A Discussion In UTK Canvas?

If you want to take part in a discussion in UTK Canvas, follow the steps:

  1. Launch your browser and navigate to https://myutk.utk.edu/ 
  2. Login to your UTK Canvas account using your correct Net ID and password.
  3. Click on “Discussions” under the Course menu. 
  4. You’ll see a list of discussions available for you. Click on the title of the discussions which you want to take.
  5. For posting your reply to the main discussion, type your reply in the “Reply” field and click on the “Post Reply” button.

How To Join A Zoom Meeting In UTK Canvas? 

If your instructor has hosted a Zoom meeting, you can join it directly from UTK Canvas Course State. Follow these steps to do it: 

  1.  Launch your browser and navigate to https://tennessee.zoom.us/ 
  2. On the next page, click on “Create or Edit Account.” 
  3. Then, select Sign-in with SSO (Single Sign-in).
  4. Next, type Tennessee in the field where you must enter the company domain.
  5. Login using your correct Net ID and password. 
  6. Complete the authentication using Duo-2FA. 
  7. Next, open your Canvas. Under the course menu, click on “Zoom.”
  8. Now, you can view your Zoom dashboard with the list of meetings that are scheduled for you. 
  9. Ensure that your time zone is set to your local time zone. If not, you can select your time zone by clicking on the pencil icon.
  10. When you are ready to start your meeting, you can join by clicking on the “Join” button.
